"Kansans in this year’s midterm election voted in favor of the Kansas Citizenship Voting Requirement Amendment.
"The amendment modifies Section 1 of Article 5 of the Kansas Constitution to explicitly state that only a U.S. citizen is eligible to vote in Kansas elections."
