Youngster In Custody After Lee's Summit Deaths Upgraded To Double Homicide

An LSPD spokesperson said detectives were at the home gathering evidence until almost 2:00 a.m. Thursday. Officers said, "The scene and the case are both complex and will require a lot of work."

On Thursday morning, police upgraded the death investigation to a double homicide investigation.

According to police, a person of interest was arrested and remains in custody. Police have not identified the victims yet. However, police did identify that a juvenile is in custody concerning the case.
