Vultures Prey Upon Blue Springs

Sorry, but . . .

Shame on these people . . . They moved into the territory of this depressing & majestic birds and now they're attempting to change the Eco-system rather adapt or even acknowledge that the avian overlords will be around a lot longer that the flimsy system that allows wage-slaves to live comfortably in the wilderness.

Of course . . . Here's the more optimistic view . . . 

For a few weeks now, a pair of turkey vultures has made themselves known in the neighborhood and surrounding subdivisions. The birds have been seen on people's homes, cars, and even hot tubs, causing damage.

The vulture’s acidic droppings can also cause damage. Outside of this urban area, the birds do good as nature’s janitors by ridding areas of diseases through their digestive tract.

However, neighbors wanted the birds gone, so they called the Missouri Department of Conservation for help. MDC and the United States Department of Agriculture came to a neighborhood meeting Monday night to hear from neighbors.

Blue Springs neighborhood ready for vultures to migrate elsewhere after birds cause property damage

A Blue Springs neighborhood has a turkey vulture problem. The birds have damaged homes and vehicles -- so neighbors are seeking help from wildlife experts.
