It's a long shot but something to consider . . .
The Missouri State Legislature is considering a bill that would withhold sales tax revenue from a county that fails to comply with an STC order to reduce assessment valuations.
The county said it will issue impact notices for the 2025 assessments by the statutory deadline of June 15.
