Show-Me Another Measles Scare

Thankfully, public health officials seem to have this one under control . . .

A visitor in Taney County, Missouri, which is more than three hours from Kansas City, Missouri, in the southern part of the state, was determined to have measles.

The visitor, a child, recently traveled internationally, and was diagnosed soon after their arrival in Taney County. Their vaccination status has not been verified, the DHSS said.

The DHSS said it believes there was limited exposure, and all known contacts have been identified.
