A surveillance video of Brady being shot point-blank in the parking lot of his Brookside restaurant last year was shown at a juvenile court hearing Tuesday. Brady’s family was watching via webcam from Ireland, and his wife sat in the last row of the courtroom.

And here's the push that'll quickly turn any local discussion about crime into a hot mess . . . 

The teen's dad said it wouldn't be fair for his son to be charged as an adult.

"Development goes a long way in life, and he hasn't gotten that far," his dad said. "He hasn't developed enough to understand a mistake—and mistakes will be made throughout his life."
