Here's the chatter already working it's way through progressive political circles . . .

DEMOCRATIC PARTY LEADERS PRESS KANSAS REP. SHARICE DAVIDS TO RUN FOR GOVERNOR!!!

We've seen this comment in a few places but it's important to document it somewhere with a bit more "visibility" than a comment section or the sketchy prog blog.

Even better . . .

POLLING PREDICTING VICTORY BUILDS PRESSURE ON REP. SHARICE DAVIDS TO MAKE HISTORY AS THE FIRST NATIVE GUV FOR KANSAS!!!

Now . . .

The polling is underway but AWESOME www.TonysKansasCity.com already know how it's gonna turn out . . . Because, of course, all polling is rigged . . . Here is some approximation of the conclusions that will be served to the voting public . . .

- Support for Rep. Davids will dominate population centers in JoCo, Wyandotte, Douglas & Shawnee County . . . The numbers from a Dem polling firm are gonna be so filled with hype that they're even going to imagine her winning Sedgwick County -- Which Prez Trump won in 2024. 

- Typical but not totally predictable Midterm push back is promised to power Rep. Davids to victory. 

Finally . . . 

- Other than AG Kris Kobach . . . Even at this late stage of the game, most of the Kansas GOP remains PAINFULLY unsure about jumping aboard the MAGA bandwagon and playing the middle-ground isn't going to work in what will be the most divisive midterm session that U.S. voters seen in decades. 

CAVEAT . . .

Rep. Davids might not want to gamble and could eek out a couple more return trips to Congress but eventually she PROBABLY knows that she won't be able to hold on office in JoCo forever. 

The downside . . .

Rep. Sharice Davids remains a HORRIBLE debater . . . She makes up for it with charm, style and a very personal connection with voters that eludes most politicos on the campaign trail . . . However, her candidacy will bring out a great deal of opposition cash. 

Then again . . .

Kansas Republicans are notorious for losing the Guv mansion and word of Dems pushing Rep. Sharice Davids polling has already sparked low-key panic amongst what is an otherwise confident super-majority.
