
A new low for local transit . . .
A recent newspaper write-up hyping the Kansas City Streetcar kinda reads like an advert for lube.
Even worse . . .
These kind of expectations will do noting but worsen the level of guilt, shame and self-loathing that drivers might feel after they realize so many toy train promises didn't last long and TOTALLY FAILED to pay off . . . Check-it:
"After years of a ripped up Main Street, midtown drivers will soon enjoy a smooth drive on the thoroughfare. Crews are resurfacing the road as the Kansas City streetcar's Main Street extension nears its fall opening."

KC Streetcar extension will open this fall - but Main Street will be smooth sooner
Kansas City's streetcar southern extension will open in the fall. Roads in midtown will be open while the city smooths over Main Street from Costco to UMKC.
