Approximately 4:40 a.m. Friday, a masked man reportedly pointed a black pistol at a woman in the education building, 615 E. 52nd St., and demanded money.
She complied, and the suspect fled. She was not injured, officials said.
"Safety on campus is a top priority, and this is the first report of an armed robbery in more than 15 years on the Volker Campus," a university spokesperson said.
