From our vantage, this is what's interesting . . .
NO, MAGA DUDES . . . YOU'RE NOT GONNA PRIMARY THE LONGTIME KANSAS GOP SENATOR!!!
In an already red state . . . There just isn't the cash to support the kind of effort required to take out an incumbent . . . More importantly, his term doesn't end until 2028.
And we're neither supporting nor condemning his actions . . . It's just that so often any conservative dispute is mired in tough talk and Internet trolling that doesn't help voter info . . . We want our readers to understand policy more deeply than that . . .
In fact, as we move closer and closer to midterms . . . There are legit disagreements that conservatives that need to be debated and blind allegiance to ANYONE is the best way for a party to lose en masse.
And so . . .
Instead of EMPTY THREATS . . . We're much more interested to know conservatives will manage and argue internal disagreements regarding trade policy that's CLEARLY impacting voters.
Here's a preview . . .
"U.S. Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas is one of 13 cosponsors on the bill that would give Congress the ability to review new tariffs, requiring the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of issuing new ones. Lawmakers would then have 60 days to approve the new tariffs. Congress could also end any tariff at any time. President Trump has threatened to veto the bill."
