Maybe it will turn out nicely . . . But . . . 

DON'T COUNT ON ANY CRITICAL REVIEWS OF NEW DESIGNS FOR THE MUSEUM!!! INSTEAD, LOCAL MEDIA OFFERS ONLY EFFUSIVE PRAISE & COMPLIMENTS FOR BIG MONEY ARTSY LEADERS!!!

It's too bad because we think the designs are campy and look like forgettable set design from one of the boring Star Wars sequels . . . Kinda the future imagined back in the 90s with slopes and cascading lines attempting to contradict the bold corners, symmetry and classical influence of the Beaux-Arts main building that has endured the test of time but might not survive so many rich progressives with deep pockets.

"People now also want to join a museum for many different reasons, not only just to look at art but to be participating in creative processes, and I think we're giving ourselves new spaces for that too," said museum director and CEO Julián Zugazagoitia.
