Kansas City Starts Earth Day Cleanup 2025

For those who might have forgotten . . .

HAPPY EARTH DAY KANSAS CITY!!!

Here's a peek at local festivities that sound like a lotta work . . . Check-it:

Community members of all ages and backgrounds have been invited to pick a location, including but not limited to the Briarcliff Trail, Brush Creek Greenway, Indian Creek Trail, Country Club Plaza, Gillham Park, Swope Park and more.

KC Parks, Public Works, KC Water and Neighborhood Services are also expected to lend a helping hand. Volunteers have been asked to wear sturdy shoes, wash their hands well afterward, use sunscreen and insect repellent, and keep all safety guidelines in mind.

Volunteers urged to sign up for Great KC Clean Up ahead of Earth Day

Community members have been invited to get their hands dirty and clean up an area of the metro as Kansas City prepares to honor Earth Day.
