Tensions continue to run high on local streets and the most controversial car brand in the U.S. was recently involved in a dangerous ALLEGED exchange of fire with another local motorist.

Responding officers contacted the victim, who claimed he had been cut off by a black Tesla while he was driving home in his white Ford E-350 van. The man told officers he caught back up with the Tesla and cut it off near W. 63rd Street and Wornall Road before continuing into a residential area.
At that point, he said, the Tesla began to follow him.
When the victim stopped at 69th and Pennsylvania, he said the suspect got out of his Tesla and shot at his van with a handgun several times. Afterward, the victim said he drove home, and the Tesla driver left the area.
During their initial investigation, officers found 11 shell casings on the street, and nine witnesses confirmed hearing gunshots and seeing the two cars leave the scene.
