Memes are now much more important than cinema if only because they're much easier to fake for "earned media" news coverage . . . Translation . . . This trend is mostly marketing aimed at crushing the spirit of any movie theater worker . . . Check one perspective . . . 

"I think the idea of people causing intentional damage or disruption is certainly part of the conversation. That's something that we're trying to get in front of by walking auditoriums beforehand," Farnsworth said. "We have a manager or shift leader come in and say, 'Listen, guys, I know what you're here for. I know what moments you're excited about. But just letting you know we're also going to be in the room, celebrate however you want, but if anything gets out of hand, we might ask you to leave.'"

"A Minecraft Movie" has led crowds to chaos with a simple but rather unusual phrase: chicken jockey. Theaters in Shawnee, Topeka and several other Kansas City-area cinemas have all had their fair share of the frenzy.
