Most of locals were too busy protesting against Prez Trump to notice a low key gathering of small time politicos pushing for more cash.

IF THIS MAYOR Q'S SWAN SONG LOW TURNOUT ELECTION?!?!

 He's now on the tail end of his tenure and more than anything else this vote will determine his next year in office . . . 

The odds are that he'll split the difference . . . 

However . . . If the Mayor suffers a sweep we might find he's a lame duck early in his career and, subsequently, council members will likely step in to upstage him.

Teachers, students and parents were joined by city council members and Mayor Quinton Lucas on Saturday to rally in support of a “yes” vote on Tuesday's upcoming Kansas City Public Schools bond vote.

If approved, the bond would send $474 million to KCPS to update buildings districtwide.

“When you get a chance to visit our schools right now,” said Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Quinton Lucas.

"You see, our infrastructure is not where it needs to be.”
