Kansas City Mayor Q Intensifies Criticism Against MAGA

After Prez Trump's victory Mayor Q told Kansas City voters that he was "not the leader of the resistance" against the new White House. 

However . . .

NOTICE MAYOR Q STEPPING UP MAGA PUSH BACK IN RECENT CONFLICT WITH PREZ TRUMP POLICY!!!

Here are two examples that stand out . . .

First, here's an extended comment from Mayor Q regarding legal action over federal public health grants: 

“At a time when measles threatens our young people and Kansas Citians in need of lifesaving cures see federal research funding slashed, I believe it’s important that we as cities and people stand up for common sense and public health in the courts,” Mayor Quinton Lucas said in a statement. “I am proud to join other mayors and cities who will continue working to save lives in Kansas City and around our country while the federal government plays politics.”

And then . . . Check another recent quote expressing criticism of MAGA and law enforcement moves "informed" by the new White House administration . . .

"There is no justification for arrest of a judge at her courthouse for actions taken while in exercise of her duties. Judges, like lawyers, are subject to discipline and removal processes. This, however, is an unprecedented breach meant only for intimidation of other jurists."

And so we ask . . . 

WILL MAYOR Q CONTINUE HIS PREZ TRUMP OPPOSITION IN THE HEART OF MAGA COUNTRY?!?

Let's not forget he's currently looking for a place to land and boosting progressive credentials might not help Mayor Q find a statewide gig.
