Here's a TKC lament . . .

WE NEVER GET INVITED TO COOL KANSAS CITY HIPSTER FUN STUFF!!!

Sure . . .

TKC is the place to go for neighborhood complaints, insider gossip and all manner of local hateration.

However . . . 

This kind of stupid & futile gesture in the name of creative writing is exactly the kind of thing we'd like to share . . . If only to be mercilessly mocked by our curmudgeonly crowd of fellow skeptics. 

Accordingly . . .

We still like the premise of this fish wrap experiment sent our way by BEST & BRIGHTEST readers.

Check-it . . .  

We stand in a certain time in history where newspapers and printing presses are disappearing. There are less and less actual OBJECTS we hold in our hands because of the rise of technology.

(Founder Michael Andrew Smith) had this wild idea to print our own newspaper celebrating the power of the written word and drawing attention to all the lives an object can live. After our newspaper, The Object, is read it can be used to wrap a gift or line a birdcage or make a paper airplane. Which then becomes part of the art. 

The idea that art lives on beyond its original form makes makes my heart beat hard.
