Kansas City ATV Street Racer Charged After Running Over Police

Tonight we check the constant law enforcement struggle against illegal street racers who have started this latest season of stunt riding.

Aggravated assault/ Injury Crash involving PD member

"AIS responded to Truman and Main in order to investigate an injury crash involving a PD Member. Preliminary investigation revealed than an aggravated assault occurred. The driver of an ATV was attempting to avoid deflation device set up by the officer. The driver of the ATV completed a stunt known as a "wheelie" and struck the officer causing him to fall, then left the scene after driving over the PD Member. The PD Member was transported to an area hospital with serious head injuries."
