IF JACKSON COUNTY EXEC DECIDES TO APPEAL THE DECISION, VOTERS NEED TO START TALKING ABOUT REMOVAL FROM OFFICE QUICKER THAN THE RECALL THAT'S STILL STALLED!!!

Jackson County Legislator Sean Smith said the focus now should be on leadership accountability and correcting the mistakes tied to the 2023 assessments.
“I’ve already contacted all of my colleagues and said, let’s get in the room and let’s figure out how we fix this,” Smith said.
“Frankly, it demands the resignation of the people that were responsible from the top all the way down,” he added.
It remains unclear whether the county will appeal the ruling or comply with the state-mandated valuation cap.
