BE VERY SKEPTICAL ABOUT CLAIMS FOR THE HEAVIES ABOUT THEIR NEED FROM CASH GIVEN THAT THE ORGANIZATION IS RICHER THAN GOD!!!

In fact . . .

They have been flexing their political clout and urging the Exec to resign rather than participate in this contentious process.  

Fact is . . .

They need more cash than $150K given threats of a legal fight and the Exec's willingness to battle his detractors head on . . . 

For now, this is more of a cover story and progress report regarding even more courthouse drama . . . 

Friday, County Executive Frank White wouldn't comment on this issue. Bridgette Williams, Executive Director of the Heavy Constructors Association, said Democracy in Action owed the polling firm co/efficient about $150,000 to get the signatures released from them, so they can send them in to the Kansas City and Jackson County Election Boards.

"Democracy in Action's trying to raise the money," Williams said.
