Guv Kelly Promotes Vaxx Amid Kansas Measles Outbreak

The outbreak was first reported on March 13 and has since risen to 37 cases in eight different Southwest Kansas counties.

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly says those cases are confined, but vaccination is the strongest defense against the disease. In a press conference held on Tuesday, Governor Kelly issued a call to action directly to the Garden City community and Kansas families as a whole.

"Put your kids first, talk to your doctor, get your child vaccinated," said Kelly.
