Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is calling for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to stop recommending fluoride in drinking water. He cited concerns about its impact on health, claiming the "evidence against fluoride is overwhelming."
The American Dental Association, however, has pushed back. ADA President Dr. Brett Kessler called Kennedy's position irresponsible and warned it could result in a spike in dental problems.
