Fairway Houlihan’s Announces Comeback

The nicest speed trap in the Kansas City metro might soon be more inviting by way of a fancier place to grab chicken "gourmet" chicken strips and an overpriced drink.

Real talk . . .

This proposed upscale suburban hangout is one of many reasons why KCMO tourism economy doesn't work anymore . . . Given that it's a nicer stop ahead of the Plaza without any of the other parking & crime problems. 

Here's a peek at the plan . . .

"Locally owned W. VinZant Restaurants wants to open a new restaurant in the spot at 2820 W. 53rd St., in the Shops at Fairway. It is proposed as an upscale-casual venue with a Ralph Lauren feel, and tentatively called The Fairway."
