This post is just for fellow old-heads who remember the glory days of roller coaster throw-up rides AND the long-go era wherein Kansas City summertime DIDN'T involve a youth riot foreshadowing the downfall of western civilization.
Again . . . Here's the nice news and hope for a speedy comeback . . .
"The Timber Wolf, a fan-favorite ride among park-goers, will be closed this year, according to the Worlds of Fun website.
"The wooden coaster debuted in 1989 and some may recognize it from its standout clicking sounds as riders make their way around the track.
"The classic has undergone renovations over the years to keep fans thrilled, including adding a high-speed, 70-degree banked turn to its finale in 2018.
"The Timber Wolf celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2024."
