When this happens to a small business like Waldo Cafe or any of the ones that it’s happened to on Troost Avenue or downtown and the river market area, these are hardworking people who are trying to make this community a better place to live and enjoy life,” one resident explained.

Multiple businesses, mainly in the Brookside and Waldo neighborhoods, were broken into overnight.

Waldo Cafe knows all about breakfast - one of their specialties being cinnamon rolls, and because they have to get up early to make them, that may be the reason they are recovering from vandalism instead of also a robbery.
