"The vigil was held one night after people gathered to remember Katie Bjorklund, 33, shot and killed for her car at a Riverside car wash late on the night of February 27. According to authorities, George Manning II then continued on to his 5-year-old daughter's house, where she shot her mother and killed 12-year-old Giuliani Calderon.
"Manning III was shot and killed by Homeland Security and Kansas City Police the next morning.
"It's a crime spree that shook Riverside and surrounding Platte County along with Kansas City, Kansas where Manning is accused of other shootings, carjackings and auto thefts over the course of a few hours."
