Rep. Alford Leverages Illegal Immigration To Lure Guv Jobs Away From Kansas City

Some of his constituents might respect the power move . . .

BUT POACHING WORK AWAY FROM KC PROPER ISN'T A GOOD LOOK FOR THE CONGRESSMAN!!!

Also, it's not like illegals are getting government jobs . . . Or at least not now that Prez Biden is enjoying ice cream on his own dime.

Here's what's worse . . .

Congressman Alford is catering to misguided MAGA hatred for Kansas City that's unfair to so many conservatives and FELLOW AMERICANS who call this cowtown home.

Our TKC takeaway . . .

This is divisive rhetoric that pits rural communities against urban neighborhoods when cooperation and partnership would be more effective as the nation slides into recession.

Also . . .

It's just bad strategy given that the course of human history has shown us that CITIES ALWAYS WIN against rural areas.

Here's the word:

U.S. Rep. Mark Alford, R-Missouri, on Tuesday sent a letter to SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler, asking her to relocate the agency’s offices currently at 1000 Walnut St., Kansas City. He also introduced a DOGE-adjacent bill Tuesday — the “Returning SBA to Main Street Act” — to “get SBA workers out of the swamp and into rural communities.”

“The goal is simple,” Alford said in a social media post that shared a screenshot of his letter to Loeffler. “No regional offices in cities that welcome illegal immigration; Bring Main Street closer to rural America.”
