Overland Park seems nice enough and the vast array of foodie options keeps residents puffy & content.
However . . .
Actually, people don't seem very happy in Overland Park.
There is constant griping about rising taxes, a rough political transition to more "progressive" politics and low-key fear and shifting "demographics" and migration.
Meanwhile . . .
Kansas City's 2nd best suburb earned fifth happiest American city in 2025, according to a WalletHub ranking.
Check-it . . .
