GIVEN THE MAYOR'S HISTORY OF LEGAL CONFLICT WITH POLICE GOVERNANCE, HE MIGHT ENCOUNTER LEGIT VOTER SKEPTICISM!!!

Translation . . . 

Homicides & property crime have spiked under his tenure but the mayor's biggest concern has been "local control"  . . . And so he might not be the best person to make the case for a public safety tax hike and facilities for a KC lockup.
