Kansas State Rep. Rebukes 'Scary Black Man' Description Despite Repeated Altercations

This story deserves equal time if only because we're uncertain if a ruckus in a pub/restaurant and tough talk on the Topeka House floor merits this racially charged defense . . . What's worse is that the middle-class white progressive scribes eat this stuff up without asking any tough questions . . . Check-it:

Rep. Ford Carr says Republicans intend to slander his reputation and expel him from the Legislature for being a “scary Black man.”

Speaking truth to power, he told Kansas Reflector, “has a way of making many uncomfortable,” including some of his fellow Democrats.
