Kansas City Restaurant Wages Rising?!?

Not really . . . They're barely keeping up with inflation.

However . . . This pro-owner report that we've "LIBERATED" from behind a local paywall offers some convenient stats so that corporate eateries can can cancel sick days and a higher minimum wage for so many workers DESPITE a public vote . . . Check-it: 

"Wages for employees at full-service restaurants are up 28% nationally since January 2020, from a median of $18.61 an hour to $23.88 in September 2024, according to data from payroll provider ADP.

"In the Kansas City metro area, median hourly base wages for restaurant workers were $6.55 as of September 2024, compared to $4.61 in January 2020, an increase of 41%. Tips also increased, from $11.13 to $14.82 over the same time period."
