Foodie Education In The Dotte Brings Back Taco Trucks Back Online

An appetizing turn of events . . .

Turns out, TEACHING TACO VENDORS some very basic rules is the key to better cuisine in the urban core . . . Or at least that the theory that might frustrate a few of our cantankerous readers who HILARIOUSLY get angry at the mention of tacos and the constantly evolving American palate.

Here's a taste of a worthwhile report . . . 

The moratorium, which called for vendors to stop operating in the restricted area for a minimum of 60 days, was put in place over improper grease disposal, unauthorized road closures and fire hazards.

On Wednesday, the Environmental Services department held an educational session for vendors to learn about best practices as they get back to business.

Unified Government lifts food truck moratorium after 60 days, vendors ready for work

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas lifted its moratorium after 60 days for food vendors operating near the city's downtown.
