This delightful old lady was working a ride-share gig and local crooks STILL ripped her off.
Here's the damage and a reminder that "progress" against local crime is hard fought . . . Check-it:
“He says I have something hanging out of my trunk,” Mena said. “I assumed he was telling me the truth.”
But according to Mena, he wasn’t, and when she got out to look, he jumped into the driver’s seat.
“I told him I was a great-grandma and an Uber driver,” Mena said. “I hung onto the steering wheel until I couldn’t. “I figured my life was more important than the car.”
