INSIDERS REVEAL COMPENSATION FOR SUSPENDED CITY MANAGER BRIAN PLATT IS HITTING LOTTERY LEVELS!!!

At this point it's very UNLIKELY he'll ever make it back inside the building.

However . . .

Per ushe, most locals don't REALLY understand how this story is playing out behind the scenes.  

Thankfully, insiders help us unpack it . . . Here's the word:

"He has KCMO over a barrel. Certain comments from council have made things MUCH MORE DIFFICULT to negotiate and there's a real risk that he could take the city for millions given the current climate and Supreme Court rulings regarding racial preferences in hiring. And so . . . Adding up his $308K salary over four years, the bidding started at $1.2 MILLION . . . But now that the situation has become so 'DIVISIVE' we're talking about even more cash to make a clean break."

It'll be hard for KCMO to hide that kind of money and we expect to see an EPIC ordinance for a payout in the very near future. 

Here's the rub . . . 

For anybody who bothers to ask . . . 

It'll be hard for some councilmembers to approve such an EPIC payout given longstanding history of harsh feelings and advocacy against the city manager.

However . . . Their apprehension might be eased by knowing that KCMO taxpayers are ultimately stuck with the tab.
