Suspect Lady Arrest After Kansas City Reporter Killed At Super Bowl

Sadly, it seems that the world's oldest profession might have led to the demise of a rising star Kansas City reporter covering the Super Bowl. 

We wanted to share the most descriptive reporting but the moral of this story is that even the most "accommodating" of strangers can still be very dangerous.

More importantly . . .

Let's be grown ups and realize that EVERY MAJOR AMERICAN TOURIST EVENT has always been packed with lowlifes, hookers, drug dealers, thieves and THOUSANDS of suckers who make easy targets whilst looking for a good time.  

It's a cruel world out there and, tragically, this local newsie never had a chance to learn that lesson.

"On Friday morning, Kenner (La.) police announced officers had arrested Danette Colbert of Slidell, Lousiana, stating they discovered that she allegedly used Manzano’s credit card at several stores in the New Orleans area.

"Investigators said they reviewed security footage showing Colbert with Manzano on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 5. Investigators also said that Colbert was seen on video leaving Manzano’s hotel room later that morning.

"Colbert, according to police, has an arrest record that includes prior arrests related to being accused of drugging men, stealing cash, fraudulent use of credit and debit cards, and other financial-related crimes."
