Robot Dog Inspires Gawkers Throughout Downtown Kansas City

Actually . . .

It's more of a toy and doesn't serve the main function of a furry companion . . .

To "humanize" owners and given the (often false) representation of kindness and compassion. And a scary bark that even chihuahuas can achieve in order to deter crooks. Also . . . A good doggie treated well help make a cold Winter just a bit more bearable for those of us who can keep ahead of so much poop byproduct.

Nevertheless . . .

Robot dogs are now showing up all over the world.

Recently inside the loop . . .

This doggie caused a stir near the P&L District.

It looks like some version of the Unitree doggie robot . . . Which is really more of a toy and available for purchase from anywhere near $3000 to $5000 bucks. Obviously, neither batteries or real life connection to a living being not included.
