Today's reminder that the once glorious suburbs aren't as safe as we'd like to believe . . . Check-it:
The suspects smashed a deck door and turned the home inside out.
In all rooms, drawers were emptied, contents were scattered across the floors, and valuables such as jewelry and designer handbags were taken.
The thieves also stole the homeowners' Social Security cards. They were in the home for around three hours, according to video timelines recorded by neighbors. They then left in a white car parked in a nearby cul-de-sac.
