"When first responders arrived, they said they found one man suffering an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased by medical professionals.
"As of Wednesday morning, law enforcement officials said the investigation remains ongoing. Everyone involved has been identified and contacted. Currently, there is no threat to the public."

Olathe police investigating after man killed in Monday night shooting
One man is dead following an overnight shooting in a residential area of Olathe Monday night, the Olathe Police Department reported.
