The basics . . .

LEADING KANSAS CITY DEMOCRATIC PARTY CONSULTANTS ARE NOW RAISING FUNDS FOR THE EFFORT TO RECALL JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE!!!

Given so much talk about the Royals & Chiefs leaving town . . . We're kind of surprised this effort continues to pick up steam.

However . . . 

There's a new e-mail note circulating that has raise some questions . . . Let's unpack it quickly . . . 

First off . . . 

We've met Shawn a couple of times and he's a nice guy. It has been awhile since our paths crossed and we knew him from back when he wasn't Latino . . . However, there's no denying that he's a dedicated and effective strategist for Kansas City metro progressives. And so . . . This note asking for locals to join the recall effort for a couple of reasons is something to consider as the another Spring election moves closer . . .
