The festivities were downgraded already and tarnished by last year's shootout that killed a beloved DJ and allowed most of the underage suspects in the gunfire to go free.
Something to consider . . .
Losing the big game gives us more time to think about security and how this town can still gather masses of people on our streets without risking gun violence.

It's an idea worth developing as the digital world hopes to divide and isolate humanity and eliminate connections to our neighbors that have spanned the course of civilization.
