Liberty Rallies For Restaurant & Captured After MAGA La Migra Raid

Told ya . . .

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE HOW MUCH AMERICANS LOVE TACOS & DON'T SEEM TOO EXCITED ABOUT ARRESTING PEOPLE FOR BUSING DISHES!!!

As a former busboy . . . We know firsthand that the gig is pretty tough and there just aren't many people who are going to do it no matter how desperate the economy . . . It's easier to pursue a career as a street pharmacist, start an OF or go into consulting.

Meanwhile . . .

Call it a narrative or propaganda . . . There's a lot to debate from either side but let's not deny Newton's third law of motion in practice by way of white guilt politics with verde sauce to make it all more palatable . . .

But first allow us this aside with a few thoughts about the REAL origin of human civilization that starts somewhere near the Chicxulub crater . . .

As always TKC thinks about the big picture along with the realization that for more than 500 years, in one form or another, the people from around the Mexican & Central American land bridge have survived genocide, rape, plauge, servitude, colonialism and Christina Aguilera . . . They've done it by endurance and, cleverly & more effectively by infesting appropriating, assimilating into the culture of their oppressors so that even tyrant and victim become inexorably linked to a dark tradition that extends from ancient Mayan temples to dingy taco stands and now across the Americas.

When things get really interesting there's all kinds of swapping by force, consent, convenience or whatever works . . . From genetic material to, governments, Gods, languages and even skin color . . . EVERYTHING gets added to the mix.

Turns out . . .

The only way to win an existential culture war is to fight on both sides of it against yourself . . . And, for better or worse, that's the Toltec Mexican American way . . .

And now here's that story about the newspaper covering another taco party . . .

About 30 community members, including teachers, school board members and Liberty City Council members, gathered at the restaurant at 116 Stewart Court Friday afternoon in support of the De La Torre family and detained employees. The event was coordinated by Jackson County legislator Manny Abarca.

“One common goal that we all have is to support the business, and not just the business but the community, the Latinos in general,” Helen Ortiz, a board member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, said Friday. “Regardless of legal status, immigrants or legal immigrants, we are all human beings.”
