"The Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR) published a report that at 10 a.m. on Jan. 28 its agents, alongside Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputies, visited The Social Bar & Grill located at 13410 West 62nd Terrace in Shawnee to seize its assets. The KDOR executed tax warrants at the bar and grill for reported non-payment of sales tax coming to more than $52,000.

"KDOR agents and accompanying law enforcement seized all known bank accounts, on-site cash, business inventory along with personal property belonging to the owner. The Social Bar & Grill was then sealed shut with a notice posted on the exterior, according to the KDOR. All assets seized by the KDOR will be sold at a public auction with the proceeds being used to cover the delinquent taxes."
