
Actually, this is a longstanding campaign promise that's now taking hold . . . Here's the progress report:
U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) has announced that the One Flag for All Act was introduced by a cohort of Republican legislators. The bill would ban any flag other than the American flag from flying at federal buildings - with certain exceptions.
Sen. Marshall indicated that the legislation was cosponsored by Senators Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wy.), and Roger Wicker (R-Miss.). Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-TN) has also introduced companion legislation in the House of Representatives.
