Kansas Prog Blog Proclaims 264 More Years Until We're All Good For Black History Month

Full disclosure . . . This post is pure jealousy.

TKC tries to be funny and we embrace quite a few aspects of absurdist philosophy.

But this post links dudes who are SIGMA LEVEL scribes who make me laugh AND realize that life is meaningless all at the same time . . . Even worse, the prog blog isn't afraid to take on sacred cows like Black History month and strip them of any real meaning, value or connection with American history.

Check this passage that could've been written by Camus . . .

"It will not be until 2289 that Black people on this continent will have been free as long as they had been subject to slavery and segregation. And that takes us from 1619 to 1954’s Brown v. Board decision. No one thinks things were great then for Black people in 1954.

"This nation used racial privilege as one of its organizing ideas, and we’re still living with it."

Accordingly . . .

THIS LEVEL OF WHITE GUILT IS BRILLIANTLY META IN HOW IT MIMICS & POKES FUN AT CLUELESS PROGRESSIVE CONCEPTIONS OF EQUITY!!! RIGHT?!? THIS IS A BIT, RIGHT?!?

Folks upset about diversity efforts in Kansas and U.S. don't understand our collective history * Kansas Reflector
