Just a quick peek at a rough weekend in the big city . . .
Investigators said the driver, who was found to be a sex offender out of the State of Kansas, sustained multiple fractured bones as a result of the crash. Two juvenile female passengers also sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Excelsior Springs Police indicated that all three were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The driver is expected to be booked into jail and charged upon his release from the hospital.

Police: Sex offender crashed into VFW roof after chase with underage passengers
Charges are expected to be filed against a known sex offender who led police on a brief chase before he crashed into the roof of a building with two underage passengers.
