Kansas City Slides Into Sketchy & Icy Roads

Be careful out there folks . . . There are more than a few crashes and a lot of dangerous drivers on local streets this morning.

Hell, even the KCFD put out this note a few minutes ago . . . 

"Road conditions are slick this morning in Kansas City and surrounding areas. Stay home this morning if you can. If you have to get out allow for longer travel times. Use extreme caution when crossing bridges and elevated surfaces. Slow down and be safe KC."

"The morning brings very light and patchy areas of drizzle, so a widespread icy mess is not likely. But, slick spots are a good bet... so extra precaution is wise. The most widespread freezing drizzle may occur closer to lunch with temperatures still at or just below the freezing mark. We likely warm enough by 2 pm to transition to rain, and we should be dry shortly after sunset."
