Kansas City Loy Edge Tribute Tonight

To start this morning we wanted to share an open invitation to one of the bygone moguls of Kansas City who helped craft the idea of an "entertainment district" without much local government help.

Here's the word . . .

"In honor of our friend, Loy Edge, there will be an informal evening of good cheer and remembrance on Tuesday, February 4, at Charlie Hooper's Brookside Bar & Grille, 12 W. 63rd Street in KCMO, any time after 6 p.m. No charge and no need to RSVP, but we would recommend that you plan on eating and drinking at the event to cover private room costs."
