Kansas City GSA Giving Up Buildings Amid DOGE Cuts

This morning we wanted to feature one confirmation and another match from recent dox.

Here's the deets that we've liberated from behind a local paywall . . . 

"The square footage matches that of a GSA lease for the sixth, seventh and eighth floors of the Gateway Tower II building at 400 State Ave. in Kansas City, Kansas. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, part of the Justice Department, lists an eighth-floor address for its North Central Regional Office in that space. GSA documents show the lease ran between July 2014 and 2024. Metro office reports say the agency renewed it last year, though not for what term.

"Across the state line, the Kansas City Business Journal was told and the GSA confirmed, the agency recently has continued efforts to dispose of a 200,302-square-foot office building it owns at 8930 Ward Parkway."
