"The City Plan Commission on Tuesday recommended in favor of a special use permit for the zoo to build a large holding barn opening onto the giraffes' outside yards. The project includes an indoor feeding deck, snack shop and dining room, outdoor overlook plaza with a feeding shade structure, new ADA-accessible restrooms with a universal changing station, a mother's room and toddler seats."
