Kansas City 'Extreme Cold & Adverse Conditions' Shut Down Streetcar

For any locals up late or early we share a truism . . .

ONCE AGAIN THE TOY TRAIN DEMONSTRATES THAT THE STREETCAR IS NOT REAL TRANSIT AND DOESN'T REALLY WORK IN THE WINTER!!!

Real talk . . .There's nothing "historic" about recent snow & cold . . . It's a bit later than usual but this kind of weather should be expected in the American Midwest. 

And here TKC was starting to feel a bit lazy about not putting up as many posts during the Winter doldrums . . . Meanwhile, this faux mode of transit has garnered TENS OF MILLIONS and can't before as well as much cheaper bus transit.

Here's the notice, sign of the times and even more KCMO Winter 2025 discontent . . . 

RideKC sent a message alerting riders that service will end an hour earlier than usual at 11 p.m. That early closure is “due to extreme cold and adverse conditions,” the message read.
